Knapsacks of Kindness
A Ministry to the Homeless
There are a few ways that you can get involved in this ministry.
1. Pray for the homeless in our area and for the ministries that reach out to them
2. If you know how to sew, you could help sew the knapsacks
3. Help fill the bags by donating travel size items needed to fill the bags such as - toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand sanitizer, combs, brushes), bug spray, pop top cans of food (tuna, beanie-weenies, spam), fast food gift cards, toilet paper, ponchos, washcloths.
4. If you know how to crochet, you could help make mats made from plastic grocery bags.
5. Donate tents/tarps for when the weather changes to our cold season.
We are also praying for any other ideas to reach out to and help the homeless in our area.
